- Pendleton Employment Law Team Obtains Jury Verdict in Client’s Favor
On February 12, 2013, Pendleton attorneys Natalie R. Sullivan and Timothy M. Kratz obtained a jury verdict in federal court on behalf of their client, Bernard Hallmon, on his claims for retaliation in violation of Title VII of the Civil Right Act and 42 U.S.C. Section 1981 and for Colorado Wage Act violations in Hallmon v. Advance Stores Company, Incorporated, d/b/a Advance Auto Parts.

Pendleton Successfully Defends Client in Large Subrogation Claim
- Pendleton director Ed Allen successfully defended his client in a contentious large loss subrogation lawsuit. After paying nearly $900,000 damages to their insured, two insurers filed suit against Pendleton’s client alleging breach of contract and negligence. On November 9, 2012, the San Miguel County jury returned a verdict in favor of Pendleton’s client on all claims for relief.

- Pendleton Successfully Defends Client in Commercial Construction Worksite Accident
Pendleton director Ed Allen and his litigation team successfully defended their client, a subcontractor working on a large commercial construction project, in a multi-party lawsuit arising out of a serious worksite accident. On May 26, 2011, the Teller County jury returned a verdict finding in favor of Pendleton’s client on all claims for relief.
